Sterosport first aid equipment has been designed and refined over years of feedback from real athletes and sports-medical professionals to be the answer you need the moment injury strikes.

Sprains strains and collisions are an all-too-common complaint of hockey season, resulting in time out while muscles and tendons heal. Even with the right protective gear, the most proficient players can fall victim to a rogue hockey stick or flying ball.

Every hockey match or training session must be attended by one first aider who holds a certificate in administering first aid at a minimum, including practical CPR. If this is you, you know your team are counting on you to support them when they need it.

But it’s not just first aiders that need supplies; sports club owners, coaches, and even players themselves need to know they have the right first aid supplies to keep them in top condition during and after a match.

How working with us can benefit you

The way we work at Sterosport is different to other sport first aid providers. We don’t simply offer first aid kits. Working with us means we’ll offer support at every turn to make sure you’re always covered if an accident or injury strikes.

We can also provide resources on injury recovery and help you get first aid equipment installed on-site. Every level of our partnership programme is free; it just depends on how much input you want from us. Choose between level one and level two packages.

As a hockey coach, you must conduct an assessment of the risks and hazards your team faces to make sure you’re providing them with the first aid they need.

England Hockey recommends at least one first aider to be present during any hockey match or training session; this could be you.

If your sports facility provider doesn’t have a sports first aid kit on-site, you’ll need to have access to one during play. It’s also a good idea to keep a full supply of sports tape like EAB, K tape and zinc oxide tape.
