Sterotape Premium is a high-strength, non-stretch P tape, which makes it an ideal joint immobilisation tape. The rigid rayon based physio tape has medical grade zinc oxide adhesion giving it a powerful hold. It is the perfect choice for supporting muscles, joints and ligaments.
Premium tape is the choice of athletic trainer tape for sports injury professionals. Physiotherapists will use it when strapping injuries or stabilising joints to avoid injury. Depending on the process of taping, physios can either completely immobilise a joint, or allow certain movements whilst immobilising others. If a runner is struggling with an ankle injury, a physio can use Premium tape to allow the standard movement, whilst preventing the ankle from rolling. Professional goalkeepers and cricketers will use the high-strength tape to support their fingers during a game.
