Despite what many people believe, netball isn’t a no-contact sport. Players have come off the court with cuts, bruises and dislocated shoulders after collisions running for the ball.

Not to mention twisted ankles and sprained knees: a regular occurrence during training or a game. Netball is a lot tougher than your average sports fan would believe, so having immediate access to first aid is essential.

With common musculoskeletal and impact injuries in netball, the quicker you receive medical attention, the quicker your recovery will be. Make those seconds count with the right first aid equipment.

We know about the risks associated with netball because we support netball players, coaches, physios, medics, and court owners with first aid solutions. We listen to feedback on common injuries and dangers of the game to make sure we can provide the right support.

How working with us can benefit you

The netball first aid provisions required of you will differ depending on your role in a netball club or team and the level of play – from recreational and grassroots all the way up to international elite teams. A risk assessment will determine what first aid supplies you need to have on hand by law. We understand how complicated this can be because we see sports teams and coaches struggle with rules and regulations all the time.

We aim to take the headache out of netball first aid by offering unique support at two levels. Level one offers minimal input from us while we provide unintrusive resources. Level two offers a more comprehensive package with a higher level of support tailored toward your unique situation. How you want to work with us is entirely up to you.

In order to achieve the UKCC Level 2 Coach qualification or higher, England Netball requires netball coaches to complete valid First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.

As a netball coach, you must be trained in administering first aid when your players suffer injuries.

Make sure you give them the best medical attention with a fully stocked sports first aid kit and make sure you have a good supply of zinc oxide tape, bandages and ice packs.

Whether you’re a first aider tending to a grassroots netball club or a part of a larger medical team responsible for providing first aid to elite players in regional, national, or international leagues, there are some first aid and therapy supplies you should never be without.
