Burnshield hydrogel is a sterile gel that can be used for the treatment of sunburn, partial and superficial thickness burns, the rehydration of burns dressings and difficult-to-reach areas. The gel then helps to prevent infection and promote rapid cooling, which helps to reduce the damage to the skin.

The gel is used by first aiders and emergency teams for burns and scalds. However, it’s a fantastic product for sports medics to have for sun burns and friction burns. It’s also the perfect tool to help soothe the pain and dissipate the heat of astroturf burns. Anyone who has taken a slide or fell on astroturf will let you know and maybe even show you the damage it has caused.
