In contact and team sports like rugby, football, hockey and american football or extreme/action sports like skateboarding, bmx, motorsports or ice skating, collisions, falls and impact injuries are an unfortunate, but, common occurrence.
In the event of these injuries, immobilisation of the individual may be required. If there’s a possibility of a spinal or neck injury, it is vital to ensure the head and neck is immobilised
correctly. The Prometheus Steady-Head immobiliser is an easy to store, single-use item, that is perfect for any club. It can be used alongside almost all scoop stretchers and spineboards. It is a highly economical option, compared to the higher specification models, as it can be thrown away once used.
