Sterofix Dressing Retention Tape is a medical grade tape used to securely hold wound dressings in place. The tapes non-woven construction is ideal in keeping wounds moist and promoting airflow to the affected area, helping speed up the recovery process. In the sporting world, you never know when or how an injury will occur, Sterofix is a highly-versatile tape that conforms easily to any area of the body, even awkward areas and joints.
It’s not nice to think about, but if a serious accident was to occur at a sporting event, the tape is ideal for holding catheters, trach tubes and other equipment in place in an emergency situation, so should be part of your emergency kit. The tape can easily be used to cover plasters or blister cushions, to secure them in place whilst on the field and being active.
