In contact and team sports like rugby, football, hockey and american football or extreme/action sports like skateboarding, bmx, motorsports or ice skating, collisions, falls and impact injuries are a common occurrence. In the event of these injuries, immobilisation of the individual may be required. If there’s a possibility of a spinal or neck injury, it’s vital to ensure the
head and neck is immobilised correctly. This Multi-Grip Head Immobiliser is disposable, easy-to-use and is perfect for any club to store with their immobilisation equipment. It can be used alongside almost all scoop stretchers and spineboards. It’s a highly economical option, compared to the higher specification models, as it can be thrown away once used.
Head immobilisers are necessary as part of mandatory medical equipment for rugby union and rugby league teams. All the items on the complete MME list for each sport are recommended by national governing bodies.
