Rugby Union and Rugby League Mandatory Medical Equipment : 2023 Update and What to Buy

Rugby League and Rugby Union have released their updated Mandatory Medical Equipment (MME) lists for teams to follow and ensure they have ample first aid supplies for the most common and dangerous rugby injuries. Elite and professional rugby teams use these lists, and they must be strictly followed for compliance with national governing bodies and to provide players the highest protection and confidence.

Aside from first aid equipment and supplies, the following drug list is also mandatory to be available on matchdays as well as during training.

Rugby teams must ensure that drugs on this list are always in date, and the use-by dates must be checked and signed off by the clinical lead responsible on a weekly basis.
