These filtering facepieces (FFP) have been designed to effectively retain particles. They are very light and comfortable, fitting perfectly to your face, and offer low resistance to breathing. The masks are CE marked, ensuring they comply with European Standards and are required for level 3 protection.

  • Level 3 PPE for pitch side emergency care
  • Protection from poisonous and deleterious kinds of dust, smoke and aerosols
  • When working with oncogenic or radioactive substances or pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and fungal spores, FFP3-class respirator masks are recommended
  • Filters 99% of all particles measuring up to 0.6 μm
  • <2% inward leakage
  • They can block both liquid and solid aerosols
  • Current NHS guidelines stipulate FFP3 face masks for virus and bacterial infection control when the contagion is spread through coughing and sneezing
  • Often used by healthcare professionals when handling hazardous pharmaceutical chemicals
  • The soft material inside provides great comfort throughout the day
  • The nose clip is easy to adjust to provide greater protection for the entire day
  • The adjustable synthetic band does not contain materials made of natural rubber (latex)
  • The exhalation valve offers greater comfort during the working day in humid environments or where the work rate is high

Uses

In a working environment, they can be worn for the following activities:

  • Drilling of wood
  • Working with stainless steel
  • Painting
  • Handling hazardous powders such as those in the pharmaceutical industry
  • OEL: protects against materials in concentrations 50x limit

 

  • Working with lacquer
  • Working with resistant paint
  • Varnishing with solvent-based paint
  • Asbestos removal
  • APF: protects against materials in concentrations 20x limit

They can also be used in medical environments where you might be exposed to bacteria or contaminants.
